DeniseDenise is a highly regarded and beloved experienced yoga teacher in the Annapolis/Baltimore/Washington, DC metropolitan area.  She has designed a comprehensive, invigorating and stimulating mixture of Kundalini and Hatha Vinyasa Flow classes which activate and transmute life energy for higher consciousness.  From beginner to advanced practitioners, you will find new ways to deepen, challenge and awaken aspects of your being through these classes.  The uniqueness of Kundalini Yoga empowers you to energetically embrace all that you are while the flow of Vinyasa Yoga melds and blends the effects to consolidate those changes into your entire psyche.  Working from a place of complete love and acceptance of each person’s ability and energy, Denise encourages and nurtures you to move into a place of courage, confidence and divine love for yourself which can overflow to others to create a heart centered and peaceful life.

 

PamPamela Lehmann, ACE CPT
Pamela is an Annapolis based personal trainer certified by the American Council (A.C.E.) and a national level Fitness competitor. She draws from her broad education, and her experience helping a diverse clientele to provide the highest level in personal training. Pamela will bring you a daily invigorating outdoor fitness program, including cardiovascular and strength training, on the beautiful beach of Casa Magna.  In addition, she will provide a personal 30-minute consultation (appointments scheduled as part of the program), to conduct your health appraisal, body assessment and nutrition evaluation. Overall, her main goal is to educate you to make long lasting health improvements.   Pamela believes in helping others to find the positive aspect in everything around you. When a new challenge arises, she teaches how to realize the true strength of your character and embrace the opportunities that are presented.  She instills a way of learning from the past to enjoy the present and look forward to the future.

Together, Denise and Pamela will bring you a unique and truly heart centered approach to creating the life you intend to live, weaving the elements of Body/Mind/Spirit and Health/Nutrition/Fitness in a delightful, uplifting and joyful way called Body Wisdom.

Body Wisdom is what we possess, yet may disconnect from it while we lead the hectic, busy and engaging lives of these times.  Where we are unable to feel our way because we are overstimulated, physically and mentally stressed, and spiritually empty or searching, we are deeply absorbed in the surface affairs of our lives and lacking the awareness of our Truth. 

It is our right to be happy, healthy and whole and by understanding who we are, how we feel, and how we can link all aspects of ourselves, we can then joyously expand our individual selves to a more Universal Self. Body Wisdom is a way to reconnect to and understand intuitively what the body is telling us through its activities.  Tuning in to our bodies, listening to that deepest, most primal Wisdom, we naturally find a lightness and joy, a confidence and trust in ourselves, and begin to realize how that trust changes our lives.

On an even more apparent level, very practical yet subtle, we will learn what it means to authentically connect to our feelings, on a very truthful and authentic level.  Beginning in our bodies, leaving the thinking mind, we will explore how to feel, and where the blocks are and the old ideas that keep us locked into a thinking way of life. 

Thus, we create the life we want for ourselves, which creates peace, joy and happiness for our Society as a whole. We are all part of the greater whole, and when we take the time to focus on our selves, we are really working on the greater good, take this time to focus on yourself and watch the effects as they expand beyond you. 

Body Wisdom Program

Denise will teach all of the Yoga classes, twice a day alternating the powerful and effective style of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan with the soulful interplay of Vinyasa Yoga.  Highlighting and inspiring you in each class is a heartfelt blend of music that calls to your soul and lifts your spirit and energy.  The Gong, an ancient tool used for releasing trauma stored in the body and mind is incorporated into each class and may be used in the Meditation or Savasana.  Denise brings a deeply compassionate and nurturing energy to her classes, creating and holding a safe space for students to awaken primal connections and develop authentic and lasting self realizations. 

Pamela will teach the daily Fitness Beach classes and help you focus on:

  • moving beyond any fitness and nutritional plateaus
  • allowing you to understand how to safely and easily manage your nutritional and strength training needs
  • providing a safe and effective fitness strategy for any special areas of concern such as Type II Diabetes, proper blood sugar levels, cardiovascular, muscular and/or joint issues.
  • evaluating your fitness and nutritional needs that will be determined with a unique program to support a lifetime health plan.

Body Wisdom is a nurturing holistic approach to integrating every aspect of who we are with what we want to be. Tuning into how you feel, on every level and what happens in our body/mind/spirit relationship gives you a way to live in the Now, with what you have and with the realization of your infinite connection to the Divine in you. This authentic divine connection creates an unshakable foundation of love for ourselves, from which all in our life can flow.
